History is on our side

Marmiko IT-Solutions has been a household name for reliable and high-quality software solutions for nearly 30 years. Founded under the name of Drews EDV & BTX, the company was able to firmly embed itself into the corporate landscape of Heidelberg, Germany, by building up relationships of trust and relying on a strategy of sustainability.   • 1994, 23 December: TELEKOM PAPER News. "BTX SERVICES TO BE UPGRADED": "1&1 Telekommunikation has been set up by 1&1 Holding to upgrade Deutsche Bundespost Telekom's Datex-J/Btx service. The service will be made more user friendly. Both firms have jointly developed the Windows-based Kernel for Intelligent Communication Terminals, an open software package that is easy to use. The development team also includes Drews EDV-Btx, Amaris, IBM, Fun Kommunikationssysteme and Microsoft. 1&1 Telekommunikation is offering start-up kits complete with modem, cable and software decoder for all available PCs, with free access to the service which normally costs DM50 per unit."
